The Drinks Menu

ESPRESSO
A single shot of espresso is made with 9-10g of
coffee and extracted for 25-30 seconds resulting in a
brew weight of 15-25g.

A double shot of espresso is made with 15-17g of
coffee and extracted for 25-30 seconds resulting in a
brew weight of 35-45g

ESPRESSO MACCHIATO
An espresso macchiato is an espresso topped or
marked with foam.
It is a good idea to ask the customer how much
foam is preferred as some people like it with just a
dollop whilst others prefer quite a lot of foam.

AMERICANO / LONG BLACK
An Americano or Long Black is espresso on top of
hot water.
Always espresso on top of hot water, never hot
water on top of espresso.
Served black or with hot / cold milk.

DOUBLE RISTRETTO
A double ristretto is made by using a higher dose of
coffee and a shorter volume of water.
For example: 18g of coffee extracted for 25 seconds
resulting in a brew weight of 20g.
